Helping Women Become Change Makers In Their Society
Hear Women works in partnership with local organisations and civic groups in fragile societies in Somalia and the Gambia to promote women’s political participation and to bring women to national discussions on peace and security issues. To this end, we provide education and training, advocacy support and humanitarian assistance to young women and girls.

• Change Makers program intended to strengthen Somali young women’s participation in the political process, both as potential candidates and supporters, ahead of the 2021 Somali national election;
• Leadership skills and accountability training for existing women Somali MPs and other office holders to become more effective and accountable in their work;
