Hear Women-The Gambia advocates for the
welfare of vulnerable women and children
Hear Women -The Gambia has completed a health sanitation training session in Nyakoi Upper and Senior Secondary School in Upper River Region, where some sanitary materials were distributed to participants.
Susan Jatta, Hear Women country coordinator said the organisation was established in 2017 to advocate for the welfare of vulnerable women and children. She said the one-year project that they are implementing was funded by Al-Khair Foundation to improve the health status of Gambian rural students on hygiene, sanitation and reproductive health. The targeted beneficiaries for the training, according to Susan include students, school administrators and parents.
